Action Blueprint

The Intent

Now that the sequence is clear, the next step of Translation is to turn it into a system of actionable and recurring steps. The Action Blueprint breaks goals down into the smallest recurring actions.

The Practice

Take a single short-term goal or milestone. Then, break it apart further into specific, measurable milestones. From there, define the concrete daily or weekly actions required to achieve it. Use verbs such as "write", "call", "run", "study". For example, if your goal is to write an essay, then break it apart into chapters, and from there, set a milestone such as: "Write 100 words a day.", then group your concrete actions into your daily or weekly routine.

The Insight

This turns your intentions into a repeatable system of actions that bring you closer towards your goals, making Translation practical by replacing motivation with structure. Review your blueprints weekly. Remove steps that no longer serve your goals, and define new ones for your current goals, making your systems evolve with you.
